Your diagnostic fee covers the technician's visit and a complete inspection of your heating system. If repairs are needed, you'll receive a firm price before any work is performed. Repair rates are identical whether you call us during business hours or in the middle of the night.
After-Hours Emergency Service: Furnaces don't wait for a convenient moment to quit. ACT offers after-hours emergency service with on-call technicians ready to respond. The after-hours diagnostic fee reflects the urgency and timing of the visit, but repair costs stay the same.
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Signs Your Furnace Needs Repair

- No heat at all. If your furnace runs but produces no warm air, or doesn't turn on at all, something is wrong and needs immediate attention.

- Short cycling. The furnace turns on, runs briefly, then shuts off before your home reaches temperature. Short cycling strains components and signals an underlying problem.
