Is It Time for a New System?

Not every HVAC problem requires a full replacement, but some do. Here's how to know when the conversation has shifted from repair to replace:

• Your system is 15 years or older — Most furnaces and air conditioners have a service life of 15–20 years. An aging system that's starting to fail is often better replaced than repeatedly repaired.
